This policy explains how BuildingHQ collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website or use our property-management service.

Information we collect

We collect account and contact details, workspace content you provide (including property, renter, lease, payment, maintenance, and file data), support communications, and technical data such as IP address, browser, device, and service logs.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, communicate service changes, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and improve BuildingHQ.

Payments

Paddle is our merchant of record and processes checkout, payment, tax, invoicing, and subscription-management information. BuildingHQ does not receive or store full payment-card details. Paddle processes your information under its own privacy policy.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers needed to operate BuildingHQ, when directed by an authorized workspace user, during a corporate transaction, or when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information while your account is active and as needed for legitimate business, contractual, tax, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and necessary record-retention requirements. Workspace administrators control much of the information within their workspace.

International processing and children

Information may be processed in countries other than yours with appropriate protections. BuildingHQ is a business service and is not directed to children.
