Terms of Service

Effective September 1, 2026

These terms govern your access to BuildingHQ. By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to them.

Service and accounts

BuildingHQ provides software for property operations. You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and be authorized to submit and manage workspace data. You are responsible for users invited to your workspace and for activity under your account.

Subscriptions, billing, and taxes

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until canceled. Displayed prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Paddle is our merchant of record and handles payment, invoices, taxes, and subscription transactions. You authorize Paddle to charge the selected payment method at each renewal.

Trials, cancellation, and refunds

The free trial lasts 14 days unless otherwise stated. You may cancel through the Paddle customer portal before renewal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

You may not use BuildingHQ unlawfully; violate another person’s rights; upload malicious code; probe or disrupt the service; bypass access controls or plan limits; scrape or resell the service; or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.

Your data

You retain rights in content you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, back up, transmit, and display that content to operate and support the service. You are responsible for lawful collection and use of renter and property data.

Our service and availability

BuildingHQ and its software, branding, and documentation belong to us and our licensors. We may improve or change the service. We aim for reliable availability but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service is not legal, accounting, tax, or financial advice.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, material breach, security risk, or unlawful use. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without implied warranties. BuildingHQ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed fees you paid for it during the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the revised date here. Material changes will be communicated when required. Questions can be sent to support@buildinghq.net.
